Mauritius Hash Trash 359

07-04-2002 Chamarel Rey #359

Run at Chamarel Village. Hares Rey Joseph and Perry Joseph.
Very nice run in a pleasant location, the village of Chamarel. The trail took us up and down and up and down and across rivers and back again and up again and ………..
Anand took the opportunity to interview two ladies who were doing their washing in the river. “Quel savon ou pu servi madame ?” They replied “Savon National !!” (Just like the TV.

The GM kicked off the On On by giving a welcoming Down Down to Etienne who has just returned from Africa.

Smelly Seat: Si Belle! passed her favourite trophy on to Sanjeet for getting his hash dates horribly confused, he proceeded to Grand Baie for a hash scheduled for the 21st!!

RA’s Down’s Down’s: ·
Hares for a faultless run! Scenic; trail well laid; good direction; beer stop – a model for future Hashes and Hashers. One small hitch however, toilets were provided, but they remained locked!
Final verdict: 9/10!

Sinners: ·
Clarence- for going to church before the hash – in full view of the RA. (competition !) Worse still, he came back looking all wet!! ·
Alan (too keen !) – for starting run ahead of everyone else.
Front running Bastard! · Anand – For wiping the trail in the presence of the RA, for deceiving Hashers by pointing them in the wrong direction. Deceiving bastard! ·
Ian and Ayla – For representing Late comers, and for getting lost.
Blob – for representing all the short cutters.

Kiddie’s Award:
Little Jamie elected Suzy as his successor

New T Shirt design:
Congratulations to Suzy. Her design will appear on new Hash T Shirts.

Announcement:
Cancellation of water supply on future Hashes due to cost. BYO for the run. There MAY be a little for consumption AFTER THE RUN.
(NB it was decided to implement this measure instead of increasing the fees to Rs 100 as we are presently loosing money at each meeting).
Hashers were invited to attempt to boost membership. The Deputy GM appealed to all members present to invite friends and colleges to the Hash.
Your friendly Webmaster will be away for a month so the directions to up-comming Hashes have all been listed on this page.

The RA praised the Hares for the marked improvement in calling On On. Still room for improvement though!
